Credit Card or Bank Transfer (only national transfer, which must be solicited directly by email: monogeneticconference2024@ckelar.org).

Please send a copy of your registration payment by email (monogeneticconference2024@ckelar.org) clearly
indicating the name of the participant in the subject field. Once we verify the registration payment, we will
confirm registration by e-mail.

The 1st IMC can offer a limited number of grants that can provide support for registration and/or partial expenses (accommodation and meals), depending on available funding and the number of applications. Students, young researchers, and scientists attending from developing/low-income countries are encouraged to submit their applications. In this context, the IAVCEI grant for 1st IMC participants works with a reimbursement system, where the participant pays the amount approved by the grant and then, after the conference, IAVCEI will do the reimbursement.

To apply, please fill in the grant application form available at this link: https://ckelar.org/documentos/1st_IMC_Grant_application.docx , and send it to email monogeneticconference2024@ckelar.org, writing in the subject line: “Grant Application_Name of the applicant”, the name of the applicant must be First Name and Last/Family Name (e.g., “Grant Application_Gabriel Ureta”). In the field "abstract submission" the applicants can fill in the title of your submitted abstract.

You must submit the abstract in order to apply for the grant and be a IAVCEI member* for 2024 to be eligible for the financial support.

The grant application deadline is June 30, 2024, in order to have enough time to inform applicants about the committee’s decision no later than July 8, 2024.

Please, submit an abstract using the abstract template provided in the link: https://ckelar.org/documentos/1st_IMC_2024_Abstract_template.doc

The abstract must be sent from June 1 until June 30, 2024, using the 1st IMC email (monogeneticconference2024@ckelar.org). Together with the abstract, the Authors must indicate in the Registration Form (available here: https://ckelar.org/documentos/1st_IMC_2024_Registration_form.docx) their preferred mode of presentation, either oral or poster. The Organizing Committee will allocate a limited number of oral presentations, with the remainder as posters. Thus, some presentations proposed as oral by the authors could turn to posters, while no presentation proposed by the authors could become oral presentation without the permission from the corresponding author.

There is a limit of a maximum of one oral and one poster presentations per registered (paid) participant.

The modality of the abstract’s acceptation will be informed at August 19, 2024. Details about the format, size, and system of the oral and poster presentation will be informed in the Fifth Circular (1st October, 2024).
